Kerry to address US-India relations at 'India: 2020' program launch

Secretary of State John Kerry is set to deliver a speech at the Center for American Progress’ launch event for the "India: 2020" program. The event will take place at 11:00 p.m. IST on Monday, July 28, at the Center for American Progress (CAP).

The Secretary will highlight the benefits of a strong U.S.-India partnership in promoting shared prosperity, democratic values, and security in Asia and globally. "India: 2020" is an initiative by the Center for American Progress aimed at advancing key foreign policy discussions in South Asia. It seeks to generate innovative ideas to strengthen the global strategic relationship between the United States and India, recognized as the world's oldest and largest democracies.
