The U.S. Embassy in the Philippines has announced the cancellation of all visa interview appointments scheduled for Monday, November 17. The decision is due to anticipated heavy traffic and road closures near the embassy as a result of rallies planned from November 16 to 18.
Affected nonimmigrant visa applicants are advised to reschedule their November 17 appointments using the online appointment system at usvisascheduling.com. The embassy has made additional nonimmigrant visa interview slots available to provide more scheduling options.
Immigrant visa applicants will receive further instructions via their registered email addresses regarding new appointment dates or how to reschedule.
Appointments for Tuesday, November 18, are not canceled at this time. However, the embassy encourages applicants to monitor its social media channels and check their email for any updates or changes.
The offsite Visa Application Center (VAC) in Paranaque City will remain open on November 17 for all scheduled biometrics appointments, including photo and fingerprint collection.
For more information and updates about visa operations, applicants can visit the embassy’s website at https://ph.usembassy.gov/visas.
