The World Trade Organization (WTO) has announced the election of new officials to lead its 14th Ministerial Conference (MC14). WTO members selected three Vice Chairs for the event: H.E. Minister Kamina Johnson Smith from Jamaica, H.E. Minister Todd McClay from New Zealand, and H.E. Minister Francisco Tiu-Laurel from the Philippines.
Minister Atangana expressed gratitude to WTO members for their support and emphasized Cameroon's commitment to ensuring effective logistical arrangements and supporting negotiations at MC14. "We can say quite clearly that we are ready," Minister Atangana stated.
