General Ronald P. Clark, Commanding General of the U.S. Army Pacific, visited Phnom Penh on February 24, 2025. During his visit, he engaged in discussions with Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet and other key military leaders.

Clark's meetings included conversations with Minister of Defense General Tea Seiha, Royal Cambodian Armed Forces (RCAF) Commander-in-Chief General Vong Pisen, and RCAF Deputy Commander-in-Chief Mao Sophan. The discussions focused on strengthening the U.S.-Cambodia bilateral defense relationship to support peace and security in the Indo-Pacific region.

The talks covered various topics such as military training exchanges related to disaster relief, United Nations Peacekeeping efforts, and initiatives aimed at making Cambodia mine-free. Both nations' officials expressed their commitment to maintaining dialogue on these issues.
