Individuals who did not receive their February Social Security payments may find that their benefits have been suspended due to the Social Security Administration not receiving their Foreign Enforcement Questionnaire (FEQ). To reinstate these benefits, recipients must take specific actions.

The Social Security Administration requires the original FEQ document to be submitted either in person or sent physically. Email or fax submissions are not accepted.

For those opting to submit the FEQ in person, the Regional Federal Benefits Office (RFBO) will visit Ecuador from March 10 to 13, 2025. However, it is important to note that there is no permanent RFBO office at the U.S. Mission in Ecuador.

Alternatively, individuals can send the original document via courier to the following address:

US EMBASSY SANTO DOMINGO

Unidad de Beneficios Federales (FBU)

Av. República de Colombia #57

Santo Domingo, República Dominicana

Código postal 10505

Telephone: +1-809-368-7011

The Federal Benefits Unit in Santo Domingo will not confirm receipt of the questionnaire and will not respond to inquiries regarding confirmation. Recipients should use a tracking number provided by their shipping company to verify delivery status. Once received, benefits are expected to be reinstated within approximately seven business days.

It is necessary for certain recipients to send their FEQ annually.
