The U.S. Visa Services will undergo a significant transition to a new system starting February 8, 2025. As part of this transition, regular services will be unavailable from February 5 to February 7, 2025. The resumption of services via the new system is scheduled for February 8.

According to the announcement, "Fee payment services will be unavailable from Wednesday February 4 to Friday February 7, 2025." Additionally, call center services will also not be operational during this period. However, applicants can continue submitting their Interview waiver and/or 221g documents at courier locations and pick up passports from these locations. Deliveries to chosen addresses will also continue except in Qatar and Saudi Arabia due to a vendor change.

Applicants are advised that they "will not be able to schedule or reschedule their appointments" during the service suspension. Those with pre-scheduled appointments should attend as planned but may face delays in passport delivery between February 5 and February 7.

To ensure a smooth transition to the new system, applicants are instructed to complete certain actions by February 3, including claiming payment receipts within 24 hours of making payments on their profiles at www.ustraveldocs.com. Any necessary corrections should also be made before this date.

From February 8 onwards, users must register anew in the updated system using their existing registered email addresses. This is essential for recovering payment receipts and future appointments associated with old profiles.

Changes in premium document delivery and submission charges might occur after the new system goes live on February 8. Applicants are encouraged to check www.ustraveldocs.com for ongoing updates regarding these changes.
