Citi Commercial Bank (CCB) recently organized the Digital Leaders' Summit 2023, focusing on various subjects related to technology and digital transformation. The summit, which took place from October 10-12, brought together over 200 senior delegates, including leaders from digital disruptors, tech companies, venture capitalists, industry professionals, founders, and Citi experts, according to a press release by Citi.

During the summit, discussions covered a wide range of topics, including harnessing artificial intelligence (AI) for disruption, exploring immersive technologies for content creation, and examining industry transformations in sectors such as travel and e-commerce. Attendees also had the opportunity to participate in an "Innovation Lab Crawl," connecting them with local disruptors like Carsome Group and Sunway Innovation Labs (iLabs).

In addition, the summit included sessions on global and Asia macroeconomic outlooks, FinTech, Big Data trends, capital markets, and startup investments. Citi's press release highlighted the importance of these discussions in navigating market volatility, improving working capital, and managing supply chains for companies operating in the vibrant Asia Pacific region.

Vikram Singh, CEO of Citi Malaysia, expressed optimism about Malaysia's digital economy, stating that it continues to show promising growth and resilience. Singh also mentioned the anticipated rise in foreign direct investment in the country, as more companies choose to establish their base there. Citi aims to leverage its global network to assist clients in capturing growth in this dynamic region and supporting their cross-border needs.
