Iyuno CEO: 'We're thrilled to announce our acquisition of Ak'la Kara International, a leading provider of language services in Turkey'

Los Angeles-based entertainment solutions company, Iyuno recently acquired Istanbul-based dubbing studio, Ak'la Kara International, according to a press release. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

"As consumers' appetite for content is at an all-time high, the need for a single supply chain provider is critical to global content producers' distribution strategies. With this acquisition, Iyuno will continue to support the needs of our clients for language services by growing our operational footprint and expanding our global reach."

In correlation with the acquisition, Ak'la Kara International will be rebranded under the name, Iyuno Turkey. The addition is intended to expand Iyuno's reach in the EMEA region and facilitate the company’s ability to serve its end-to-end offerings across the Turkish market.

Offering localization services, Ak'la Kara International serves a catalog of foreign content providers, distributors, television channels, digital platforms, gaming and advertising businesses.

Counting with the support of a team of translators, artists and technical staff, the company is credited with providing dubbing and language services to globally renowned films and viral episodic series for platforms such as Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Discovery and Riot Games.

“Since its establishment, Ak'la Kara has been a preferred partner of the industry's largest domestic and foreign content providers, distributors, television channels, digital platforms, gaming and advertising companies,” a recent press release states. “With the localization services it provides, the company produces the highest quality projects with the best translators, artists and technical staff.”

Marking the 35th market to be explored by Iyuno, the addition forms part of Iyuno’s global expansion strategy. Through this acquisition, the company also hopes to improve its creative service and invest in its technological capabilities. The expansion will form part of an operational project spanning 67 offices.
