Globant recently acquired Australian-born digital commerce experience consultancy eWave to strengthen its presence in the digital and cognitive transformation industry in Australia and several Asian countries, a press release reported.

The new addition will be managed by Globant VP of corporate development, Mariano Rempel, Managing Director and Founder of eWave Fatima Said, Managing Director and Founder of eWave Karl Norman, CEO and Founder of eWave Federico Pienovi and Globant’s CEO of new markets region, overseeing the Asia Pacific and the Middle East.

Its catalog of clients includes popular brands such as Canon, L'Óreal, Nike, Coca-Cola Amatil and Cochlear.
