Featuring a food hall design, and various new restaurant concepts, the outlet center serves as the first-ever launch location for 24 of the stores.
Designed in a modern contemporary architectural design matter, the new venture will also house Japan’s first-ever "Asobo! Garigari-kun” children's attraction, and artwork belonging to the Chokoku-no-Mori Art Foundation, and various on-site artists.
“With the aim of reducing environmental impacts, the Fukaya-Hanazono Premium Outlets will be the first Premium Outlets to use solar and other renewable energy for all electric power consumed at the facilities,” a recent press release states. “The estimated annual consumption used by the tenant stores and common areas will be provided by the almost 440 solar panels installed in the outlet mall which will contribute to the reduction of CO2 emissions.”
