Alorica COO on new regional president: 'I have confidence that our teams in the region will execute and thrive'

Alorica Inc. recently welcomed Sanjay Ponnappa as regional president for its Indian operations, according to a press release.

"Adding Sanjay to the executive leadership team at this point of Alorica India’s trajectory aligns well with our plans for massive growth in the country," Alorica’s Chief Operating Officer Bong Borja said.

Ponnappa’s position with the company will be made effective immediately. Under his new role, Ponnappa will be tasked with leveraging Alorica’s service delivery in India to better serve the needs of global clients and customers. 

Under the terms of the agreement, Ponnappa will oversee Alorica’s Indian operations, which is currently run by 3,000 employees across the company’s Bengaluru and Mohali sites, and those working remotely.

Ponnappa will contribute more than 29 years of business process management, program delivery and robotic automation deployment experience. 

He has previously offered non-voice and back-office support to more than 10,000 employees based across India, Philippines and the United Kingdom. He specializes in performance and employee life cycle improvements, NPS and profitability and guiding creatives as they work to add innovative touches to digital systems.
