Proteintech, based in Illinois, has established a new office and warehouse at The Strategy, 2 International Business Park in Singapore, according to a press release.
“For the same reasons researchers are choosing the Lion city, Proteintech has established its new office nearby Biopolis, Singapore Science Park and Tuas Biomedical Park in Singapore,” CEO of Proteintech Jason Li said in the release. “As an effort to support our customers’ needs and speed up research, more than 12,000 of our antibodies and reagents are stocked locally for next day delivery making the new site the sixth global distribution center of Proteintech.”
With this new launch, Proteintech, considered a benchmark in antibodies, Nanobodies and cytokines and growth factors, hopes to better service its clients and strengthen its presence in the APAC region, which has mainly been established in China and Japan.
Singapore was deemed an ideal location for the launch because of its academic institutes, pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies.
“Establishing the new office in Singapore puts dedicated resources to the fast-growing APAC countries,” a recent press release reveals. “The new office will also act as a liaison to facilitate global collaboration and product development.”
