A.L.I. Technologies Inc. will display its new flying motorcycle, the XTURISMO Limited Edition hoverbike at the Top Marques Monaco Show June 8-12, a news release said.

The company calls the XTURISMO "the world's first practical hoverbike."

It has been in development since 2017, the company said.

"XTURISMO Limited Edition was born from the desire to offer a new experience and unparalleled sensations of moving through the air," the news release said. "With its hybrid propeller propulsion system consisting of a combustion engine and four electric motors, the XTURISMO Limited Edition is able to fly 40 minutes, and up to 100 km/h."

It's not yet approved for public use but is already positioned as the new icon of the next generation of air mobility for "those who seek new frontiers of travel," A.L.I. said.

Two hundred units are available at a cost of $777,000 per hoverbike, the company said.

The hoverbike "could be used by rescue teams to reach hard-to-reach areas in times of disaster," the company said.

A.L.I., based in Tokyo, describes itself as a company that envisions "a society in which cars, motorcycles and UAVs can traverse the skies freely."

Its goal is to develop new technologies, "that enables anyone to use the airspace safely, securely and conveniently," it said.
