Eagle Eye Networks unveiled its most recent expansion plans in India, intended to improve the country’s tech, education and public safety industries.
“India has a fast growing economy; its businesses see the benefits of cloud video surveillance leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) to improve operations and security,” Eagle Eye Networks CEO Dean Drako said in a recent press release.
Based in Austin, Texas, the cloud video surveillance and artificial intelligence platform initially established its footprint in India last year when it acquired Uncanny Vision, an AI-specialized agency based in Bangalore, a recent press release reports.
It has since then multiplied its sales staff in hopes of strengthening its sales strategy and enriching its company with "technical knowledge, vertical experience and deep expertise in the local market."
A local, Indian-based engineering team is also in the works to further bolster the company’s product, research and design development. The addition forms part of a global team, also scattered across the U.S, Amsterdam, Bangalore and Tokyo.
“Backed by a global organization, the Eagle Eye Cloud VMS (video management system) is the perfect match for India’s cities, educational institutions and growing businesses, providing an open, flexible and powerful system that will meet their current and future needs,” Draco said.
