Andersen Global has added a new member firm based in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

“We are proud to adopt the Andersen brand as it further reflects our dedication to providing our clients with comprehensive, integrated solutions regardless of borders,” managing partner of Andersen in the UAE, Anurag Chaturvedi, said in a company-issued press release.

The launch will help the global association of independent tax and legal member firms expand its operations in the Middle East, with the region serving as one of its most prominent markets, according to the press release.

“The addition of Andersen in the UAE strengthens our capabilities in the region and reflects our commitment to building a benchmark organization that provides clients with synergistic services globally,” Andersen CEO Mark Vorsatz said.

Andersen was founded in 2018 in the United Arab Emirates, and has served as a collaborative firm for two years. According to the press release, the two existing full-service agencies in Dubai and Abu Dhabi specialize in "direct and indirect tax, regulatory compliances, risk management and transaction advisory on cross border issues."

Established in 2013, the company has now built a network of more than 10,000 professionals from both member and collaborating firms across 331 locations worldwide, the release stated.

“Anurag and his team have consistently demonstrated their dedication to our organization’s values and vision through their innovative business insight and leading cross-border capabilities,” Vorsatz said.

Last year, the firm improved its Economic Social Governance service offerings to help reach UAE’s social development goals.

“Working with Andersen Global over the past few years has led to our firm’s development and allowed us to maintain a strong foothold in the market as we have been able to provide clients with the global resources necessary to meet their complex, international business needs,” Chaturvedi said.
