Binance has announced that it has received full licensing from the Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA) under the Abu Dhabi Global Market framework. This authorization enables the platform to operate under a leading digital-asset regulatory regime. The company made this announcement in a post on X.

Under the new authorization, Binance will operate through three separately licensed entities in Abu Dhabi Global Market—an exchange, a clearing and custody house, and a broker-dealer. This structure is designed to strengthen governance, risk controls, and investor protections while aligning crypto markets with mature financial standards.

According to Binance's 2024 annual report, the FSRA approval builds on a multi-year push to integrate compliance into its global operations. Binance invested hundreds of millions of dollars into compliance and security, expanded its in-house compliance team to around 650 specialists, and obtained regulatory licenses or registrations in 21 jurisdictions, more than any other major crypto platform.

Binance pairs this regulatory focus with innovation in user-protection technology. The company reports deploying advanced transaction-monitoring, AI-driven risk tools, and law-enforcement cooperation programs that helped block an estimated $4.2 billion in potential user losses and protect 2.8 million users from scams and fraud.

Founded in 2017, Binance has grown into a leading global blockchain ecosystem with the world’s largest digital asset exchange by trading volume. It offers products across trading, custody, payments, research, education, and institutional services. The company’s mission is to build the core infrastructure for tomorrow’s crypto-powered financial system with a user-first approach emphasizing security, transparency, and regulatory alignment in major markets worldwide.
