Richard Teng, Chief Executive Officer of Binance, said that artificial intelligence (AI) will empower traders by providing real-time, personalized insights through new tools like Binance Bibi. Teng made this statement in a social media post on November 26.
"AI isn't replacing traders. It's empowering them," said Teng. "Binance Bibi is our step toward delivering real-time, personalized insights."
According to Binance Square, "Binance BiBi" offers live, concise market rundowns that highlight sudden price movements, liquidity shifts, and news catalysts for listed tokens. This allows traders to quickly access actionable context. The posts include real-time statistics such as 24-hour percentage changes and volumes in USDT (Tether), along with narrative takeaways that model the kind of personalized insight Teng describes.
Binance remains the largest centralized cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume. CoinGecko reported in July 2025 that Binance held approximately 39.8% of the centralized exchange market share, with spot volume increasing to about $698.3 billion—up roughly 61% from June's $432.6 billion. This scale underscores how AI-delivered real-time insights can impact a massive user base and high-throughput environment where milliseconds and clarity of signals are crucial.
The company has detailed an Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) framework requiring identity verification, sanctions screening, and risk-based customer due diligence with standard and enhanced tiers. It also mandates source-of-funds checks, transaction monitoring, and a designated Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) to report suspicious activity to regulators—measures designed to deter illicit use while protecting legitimate users.
Teng became CEO of Binance in November 2023 after decades in finance and regulation, including senior roles at the Monetary Authority of Singapore, Singapore Exchange as Chief Regulatory Officer, and Abu Dhabi Global Market as CEO.
