U.S. consular officers will visit Tonga from November 4 to 7, 2025, to provide services for American citizens. The visit will take place at the U.S. Embassy in Nukualofa.

The consular team will offer passport renewals, registration of Consular Reports of Birth Abroad for children of American citizen parents, and notary services for documents intended for use in the United States.

Appointments are required for all services. Walk-in applications will not be accepted. Those interested must request an appointment by emailing TongaACS@state.gov before the close of business on Tuesday, October 28, 2025.

"Emergency Limited Passports: 2-3 weeks

Regular Passports: 4-6 weeks

Consular Report of Birth Abroad: 5-7 weeks"
