Beneficiaries of U.S. Social Security residing in the Philippines are advised to send their completed Annual Report Forms (SSA-7161 or SSA-7162) directly to the Social Security Administration’s Federal Benefits Unit (FBU) in Manila. This update follows a suspension of certain mail services to the United States, affecting regular mailing procedures.

The forms should be mailed to:

Social Security Administration (Attention: FEQ)

U.S. Embassy in the Philippines

1201 Roxas Boulevard, Ermita

Manila, Philippines 0930

Those who have not received the form by mail can download it online. Beneficiaries should use Form SSA-7162, while representative payees must use Form SSA-7161.

Completed and signed original forms must be submitted; scanned, emailed, or faxed copies will not be accepted. The FBU recommends using a courier service with tracking capability for sending documents so delivery progress can be monitored.

For further questions or assistance, beneficiaries may contact SSA/FBU via e-mail at FBU.Manila@ssa.gov.
