The U.S. Embassy in Tunis has issued a request for quotes (RFQ) for office IT equipment, with submissions due by September 22, 2025, at 4 p.m. The embassy is seeking VAT-free quotes for the supply, delivery, and installation of equipment to six locations outside the Tunis area. Details on these locations will be provided upon request.
Interested vendors are required to submit their quotations in sealed envelopes to the American Embassy Tunis at Les Berges du Lac 1053 – Tunis. The submission must include separate envelopes for technical and financial offers. Technical offers should demonstrate that the business is established, provide proof of registration in SAM.gov, detail technical specifications, and confirm NDAA compliance.

A proof of SAM Registration (Please see attached user reference guide). Technical specification NDAA certification Financial offer should be VAT Free, please sign it and stamp it."
Vendors are encouraged to make their quotes competitive. The embassy notes that submitting a quote does not guarantee an award will be made. "The RFQ does not commit the American Embassy to make any award," according to the notice.
The U.S. Government plans to award the purchase order based on technical acceptability and lowest price.
Payment will be processed within 30 days after receipt of both the order and original invoice containing banking information.
Registration with SAM.gov is mandatory for contract eligibility. Vendors who are already registered must provide their Entity Identity Number; those who are not yet registered are advised to begin the process promptly since contracts cannot be awarded without this registration.
NDAA compliance is also required as part of new procurement regulations. Vendors must confirm their company's compliance status by reviewing FAR clause 52.204-24 (https://www.acquisition.gov/far/52.204-24) and submitting a signed document if interested.
No proposals received after the deadline will be considered.
