A large protest is expected to take place near the U.S. Embassy in Brussels on Sunday, September 7, 2025. The demonstration, organized by a coalition of associations, unions, and NGOs, is being held to protest Israeli actions in Gaza. Authorities estimate that between 50,000 and 70,000 people may participate.
The march will begin at North station at 13:30 and proceed along Boulevard Albert2, small ring, Jardin Boutanique, Place Madou, Avenue des Arts, Rue de la Loi, Rue de Trèves, and Rue Belliard before ending at Place Jean Rey around 17:30. The event is scheduled to disperse by 18:00.
Traffic disruptions are expected near the Embassy on Boulevard du Regent/Regentlaan during the protest hours. The U.S. Embassy has advised American citizens to avoid areas near the route of the march and remain alert.

Exercise caution if unexpectedly in the vicinity of large gatherings.
Stay extra alert in locations frequented by tourists.
Follow the instructions of authorities and road signs regarding closures and detours.
Monitor local media for updates.
