The U.S. Embassy in Tunis has announced a request for quotations (RFQ) for the purchase of 20 iPhone 14 devices, along with related accessories such as screen protectors, clear cases, and EU home chargers. The embassy is seeking VAT-free quotes from suppliers.

Interested vendors are required to submit their offers in sealed envelopes by September 2, 2025, at 10:00 am to the American Embassy Tunis at Les Berges du Lac. Both technical and financial offers must be included in separate envelopes within the submission.

The technical offer should contain proof of an established business, SAM registration, technical specifications of the products offered, and NDAA certification. The financial offer must be VAT-free and should be signed and stamped by the vendor.

According to the embassy's announcement: "The Embassy encourages you to make your quote competitive. The RFQ does not commit the American Embassy to make any award." The embassy also stated: "The U.S. Government intends to award the Purchase Order to the technically qualified, lowest price quote."

Payment will be processed within 30 days after receipt of both the order and original invoice with banking information.

Vendors are reminded that registration in SAM.gov is mandatory before any contract can be awarded. Those already registered are asked to provide their Entity Identity Number; others are encouraged to begin registration as soon as possible. Compliance with NDAA requirements is also necessary for consideration.
