The U.S. Mission in Kampala has issued a request for information (RFI) inviting vendors specializing in janitorial services within Kampala, Uganda, to submit their company profiles and related documentation. The submissions should demonstrate the vendors' experience, financial capacity, and references.

Interested parties must provide details including their vendor name, physical address, contact information such as telephone number and email address along with a point of contact name, certificate of incorporation, proof of at least two years of past work experience, and a trading license. Only those vendors directly involved in providing janitorial services within Kampala are eligible to respond; third-party vendors will not be considered.

Responses are to be sent via email to KampalaBid@state.gov with the subject line "Request for Information Janitorial Services." The deadline for submission is set for Thursday, July 17, 2025, at 10:00 am local time.

The RFI also notes that registration with the System for Award Management (SAM) may be required before any award is made. Vendors can find registration details at www.sam.gov and must ensure their status is "ACTIVE" at the time of award consideration.

All quotes submitted must include detailed specifications since selections will be based on the lowest price technically acceptable. Vendors are encouraged to include pictorial representations of their offers and specify delivery periods.

For further inquiries or additional information regarding this solicitation process, interested vendors can reach out via email at KampalaBid@state.gov.
