The American Institute in Taiwan (AIT) is seeking a firm to provide façade and window cleaning services under an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract. The contract will be awarded based on the lowest-priced, technically acceptable offer. Companies interested in this opportunity must meet specific criteria to qualify.
According to AIT, all firms responding to the solicitation must demonstrate technical qualifications and financial responsibility. Each offeror must have the ability to understand written and spoken English, maintain an established business with a permanent address and telephone listing in Taiwan, and provide evidence of prior experience with suitable references. Furthermore, they need at least five years of good experience and past performance records in a related field.
The necessary personnel, equipment, and financial resources should be available for performing the work. Additionally, all required licenses and permits by local law must be held by the company. Compliance with local insurance requirements is also mandatory.
AIT specifies that companies should have no adverse criminal record or political or business affiliations contrary to its interests. Moreover, compliance with Section 889 of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) is required.
