The Higher Institute of Sciences & Technology (HIST), a private university in Algeria, has formalized an agreement with the University of Central Missouri (UCM). This partnership will provide Algerian students with the opportunity to pursue undergraduate degrees in the United States. Under this arrangement, students can complete two to three years at HIST before transferring to UCM to finish their studies in fields such as computer science, engineering, biology, and business.

Dr. Phil Hull from UCM visited Algeria for a ceremony marking this occasion.

“It’s wonderful to celebrate a new academic link between the United States and Algeria,” stated Elizabeth Moore Aubin, the Ambassador of the United States to Algeria. She also noted that “there is immense potential for growth in academic partnerships and exchanges between Algeria and the United States.”

This event signifies a step forward in expanding educational opportunities for Algerian students and strengthening ties between Algeria and the United States.
