Ambassador Nicole D. Theriot expressed her gratitude to the Humanity First team, Ministry of Health, and partner organizations for their involvement in a medical outreach initiative. She emphasized the significance of this event as a representation of shared values between the U.S. Embassy and Humanity First Guyana.
"As we reflect on this comprehensive medical care event — providing essential services such as HIV testing, blood pressure monitoring, doctor consultations, and eye and dental care — we do so in the spirit of cooperation and goodwill that has long characterized the collaboration between Humanity First Guyana and the U.S. Embassy," said Ambassador Theriot.
She highlighted Humanity First Guyana's mission to improve local communities through healthcare initiatives. "Humanity First Guyana’s mission is as urgent as it is admirable," she stated.
Ambassador Theriot encouraged reflection on what can be achieved together during this outreach event. "Let this medical outreach be a reminder of our shared humanity," she added.
The ambassador extended her gratitude to all involved parties for their dedication to community well-being. "A huge sincere thank you to all the volunteers and staff who have made this event possible," she said.
In closing remarks, Ambassador Theriot expressed optimism about future collaborations: "I know that our collective engagements over these three days will be a great success."
