The American Institute in Taiwan (AIT) is seeking a firm to provide preventive maintenance services for the ANSUL R-102 Fire Suppression System at its Taipei office. The maintenance services are required to comply with the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 96 standard. The aim of this scheduled preventive maintenance is to prevent system malfunctions, breakdowns, and deterioration when units are activated or running. AIT emphasizes that the contractor must ensure all serviced systems are operational when activated.

The contract will be awarded as a firm-fixed-price contract to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offer. Firms responding to this request for quotation (RFQ) must be technically qualified and financially responsible. At a minimum, each offeror must meet several requirements including:

- Ability to comprehend and read English

- Established business with a permanent address and telephone listing in Taiwan

- Certification as an ANSUL R-102 Fire Suppression System distributor or supplier

- Minimum of five years of experience in commissioning or maintaining these systems

- Necessary personnel, equipment, and financial resources available for the work

- All licenses and permits required by local law

- Compliance with local insurance requirements

- No adverse criminal record

- No political or business affiliation contrary to AIT's interests

They need to submit the completed NDAA Certification Form and sign up for both the pre-proposal conference meeting and site visit.
