The American Center at the U.S. Consulate General Chennai is launching free summer activities focused on STEM subjects for students between April 21 and May 30, 2025. Students in classes 8 through 12 are invited to participate in these immersive hands-on learning activities held from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Mondays through Thursdays. Movie screenings are scheduled every Friday at 10 a.m. Participation is limited, and students must register in advance for their daily slots via email or WhatsApp.
Participants will have access to a range of STEM learning tools, including coding kits such as MicroBits and Snap Circuits, augmented reality experiences with Merge Cube, virtual reality goggles, a 3D printer, and NASA-themed LEGO sets. Additionally, students can engage in a daily quiz to win prizes like 3D printed keepsakes and NASA stickers.

The American Center in Chennai, located within the U.S. Consulate General, has been a platform for learning, dialogue, and inspiration, reinforcing the U.S.-India relationship for more than 70 years. It offers a library of over 15,000 books and various multimedia and digital resources, available to the public daily from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
