The U.S. Embassy in Tunis has announced a request for quotations for the installation of a metal shed on the chancery roof. This project will also involve modifications to the concrete roof pad and the addition of metal fencing, as described in the attached Scope of Work.
Applicants are required to submit quotations in sealed envelopes that must contain separate technical and financial offers. The technical offer should demonstrate proof of an established business, signed and stamped pages of the Scope of Work, proof of SAM registration, and a list of references for similar projects. Meanwhile, the financial offer should be VAT free and signed with a stamp.
All submitted quotations should be sent to "American Embassy Tunis, Ref: RFQ PR15157658 – GSO/Procurement, Les Berges du Lac 1053 – Tunis," by April 21, 2025, before 10:00 am. Late submissions will not be considered. According to the embassy, "The Embassy encourages you to make your quote competitive. The RFQ does not commit the American Embassy to make any award."
The U.S. Government’s intention is to award this purchase order to the technically qualified application that offers the lowest price. Payments will be made within 30 days after the receipt of the order and the original invoice.
It is necessary for applicants to be registered in the "SAM.gov" database. The embassy notes, "Contract cannot be awarded if contractor is not registered in SAM."
Additionally, compliance with applicable federal anti-discrimination law, as mandated by the President's Executive Order 14173, is required. The applicants need to confirm compliance by signing the related document. They also need to confirm that their operations do not violate any federal anti-discrimination laws.
Finally, applicants are asked to confirm their compliance with NDAA regulations. Instructions to complete this are provided through a link to the FAR clause documentation.
Interested parties are encouraged to acknowledge receipt of the request for quotation via email and submit the required documents by the stipulated deadlines.
