Every day, women contribute significantly to their families, communities, and the nation. Women’s History Month is an opportunity to recognize these contributions. The President of the United States has issued a proclamation celebrating the impact women have had on the country.
The President and First Lady honor American women from various generations and backgrounds for their role in prosperity and productivity. The President acknowledged female leaders within his administration who excel in business, policy, national security, law, and public service.
The administration has taken steps to protect women's spaces by ensuring government policies reflect biological sex distinctions. This includes signing an Executive Order to prevent "X" gender markers on government forms and limiting competition in women's sports to female athletes only.
Further actions include securing borders, deporting illegal aliens, rebuilding the economy, promoting school choice, improving healthcare access, and enhancing access to in vitro fertilization. These efforts aim to empower women daily.
The proclamation encourages Americans to celebrate exceptional women nationwide during March 2025 as Women’s History Month.
"NOW, THEREFORE," stated Donald J. Trump, "I call on all Americans to celebrate the exceptional women in their lives and around our country."
The proclamation was signed by Donald J. Trump on March 6th, 2025.
