Earlier this year, President Donald J. Trump signed a National Security Presidential Memorandum aimed at restoring maximum pressure on the government of Iran. The memorandum focuses on denying Iran all paths to a nuclear weapon and countering its influence abroad.

In an interview with Catherine Herridge, Secretary of State Marco Rubio emphasized the administration's stance. "Iran can never be allowed to possess a nuclear weapon," Rubio stated during the discussion.

The memorandum represents a significant move in U.S. foreign policy regarding Iran, reflecting ongoing concerns about Iran's nuclear ambitions and regional activities.
