The United States Ambassador to Turkmenistan is currently seeking a housekeeper for the Chief of Mission Residence located at the New Embassy Compound in Ashgabat. The role involves managing daily cleaning and maintenance tasks, as well as assisting with representational events.

Key responsibilities include general cleaning duties such as vacuuming, dusting, floor cleaning, and other routine chores. The position also requires deep cleaning of each room on a regular basis, periodic window cleaning, and maintaining guest bedrooms and bathrooms. Additionally, the housekeeper will be responsible for washing, ironing, mending clothes and linens belonging to the Ambassador's family and guests.

The role includes upkeep of patios and outdoor areas near the residence. Assistance with food preparation and serving during private and official meals is required, along with post-event clean-up. The housekeeper will also act as a waitress for small events hosted by the Ambassador. Comfort around pets is necessary due to the presence of a large dog in the home.

Reporting directly to the Residence Manager, candidates must provide multiple references verifying their work quality and reliability. Flexible hours are required based on the needs of the Ambassador and scheduled events. Candidates must accommodate schedule changes for representational events and pass a security background check.
