The United States is set to participate in Aero India 2025, marking its 15th appearance at Asia's premier aerospace and defense trade show. The event will highlight the growing defense and aerospace partnership between the U.S. and India, emphasizing regional security, stability, and economic prosperity through diversified trade and strategic investments.

More than two dozen American exhibitors are expected to engage with Indian counterparts, exploring new business opportunities and showcasing innovations in aviation and defense. The exhibition will feature advancements in unmanned aerial systems (UAS), fighter aircraft, advanced avionics, and defense electronics.

Leading the high-level U.S. delegation is Chargé d’Affaires Jorgan Andrews from the U.S. Embassy in New Delhi. "The United States is excited to once again participate in Aero India and to spotlight our strong defense ties with India," said Andrews. "Our cooperation in defense, trade, and training is integral to our growing strategic partnership."

Senior leaders joining Andrews include General Kevin Schneider, Commander of U.S. Pacific Air Forces; Brigadier General Patrick Teague, Senior Defense Official at U.S. Mission India; and Consul General Chris Hodges from the U.S. Consulate General Chennai.

Since Aero India 2023, the United States and India have deepened their defense ties through technology innovation, expanded trade, and increased cooperation in maritime security, cybersecurity, logistics, and counter-terrorism operations. "Aero India 2025 is an ideal forum to showcase U.S. defense aircraft and equipment," said General Schneider. He noted that this growth corresponds with increasing interoperability through information sharing, liaison officers, training exercises, and enabling agreements.

Highlights of Aero India 2025 include displays of U.S.-made defense equipment such as the F-16, F-35, KC-135 Stratotanker, and B-1 bomber.

Additionally, the United States Air Force Band of the Pacific’s ensemble Final Approach will perform for attendees on February 13th and 14th at Aero India 2025 as well as on February 11th at Christ University auditorium in Bengaluru.
