The U.S. Embassy in Malta is seeking quotes for life and disability insurance for its employees. The period of performance for the contract is set from April 25, 2025, to April 24, 2026.
"The U.S government intends to award a contract to the responsible company submitting an acceptable offer at the lowest price," states the embassy's announcement. It further notes that "we intend to award a contract based on initial quotations, without holding discussions."
Interested parties are encouraged to request a copy of the Request for Quotations (RFQ) by emailing VallettaBids@state.gov before February 14, 2025. The deadline for response submissions is February 22, 2025.
The chosen offeror must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to being awarded the contract. Prospective bidders are advised to complete their registration in advance of submitting their proposals. Guidelines for international registrations in SAM can be accessed online.
