Representatives from 15 U.S. universities and colleges are set to begin a three-city American Higher Education Road Show in Indonesia. The tour will start in Medan on February 8, continue to Manado on February 10, and conclude in Jakarta on February 12.

These events are open to the public without charge. Details and registration can be accessed via the @EducationUSAIndonesia Instagram account or at edusaspringroadshow.eventbrite.com.

The schedule is as follows: Medan on February 8 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm at Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara; Manado on February 10 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Manado Independent School; and Jakarta on February 12 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Artotel Gelora Senayan.

“With over 4,000 nationally and regionally accredited universities in the United States, Indonesian parents and students can choose the type of academic institution that is right for them, and then our EducationUSA teams can help them find the best fit,” stated U.S. Embassy Spokesperson Jamie Ravetz.

The fairs will provide an opportunity for students and parents to engage with university representatives along with officials from EducationUSA Indonesia and the U.S. Mission to Indonesia. Sessions will cover university application tips as well as opportunities for work in the United States post-graduation.

EducationUSA offices across Indonesia offer free advising services both in-person and virtually. These services include guidance on researching schools, identifying financial aid options, completing applications, applying for student visas, and preparing for departure.
