The U.S. Consulate General in Krakow organized an event on December 8th to celebrate a century of U.S.-Polish relations. Titled “Poles and Americans – 100 Years Together,” the event took the form of a city-wide scavenger hunt. More than 70 participants engaged in this team-building activity, which required them to find hidden locations and complete tasks using a series of clues.

The tasks led participants through Krakow, focusing on landmarks and historical sites that underscore the relationship between the United States and Poland. A specially-designed website (http://100latrazem.pl/) provided information for a final quiz, presenting a timeline of shared history between the two nations.

Consul General B. Bix Aliu awarded prizes to the first-place winners at the end of the four-hour event, which concluded at Kopiec Kościuszki, a site significant to both countries.
