The U.S. Mission in Ecuador has announced that representatives from the Regional Federal Benefits Unit will be visiting Guayaquil and Quito to provide services related to U.S. Social Security and other federal benefits. The visit is scheduled for April 22-26, 2024.

For those planning to attend appointments at the U.S. Consulate General in Guayaquil or the U.S. Embassy in Quito, there are specific entry requirements to note. Visitors will not be allowed to bring bags, purses, or electronic devices into the facilities, and there will be no storage available for these items.

Individuals wishing to submit their Foreign Enforcement Questionnaire SSA 7162/7161 form for 2023 do not need an appointment as walk-in services will be offered. Forms can be dropped off during service hours at either of the specified locations.
