Davos Communications Summit happening in April

The Davos Communication Summit, a prominent event in the public relations (PR) industry, is set to take place on April 11 and 12 in Davos, Switzerland. The summit offers attendees the chance to network, engage in discussions with PR experts, and delve into pertinent issues such as artificial intelligence's influence on PR strategies.

Among the distinguished speakers at the 2024 Davos Communications Summit are Paul Holmes, founder and chair of Provoke Media; Raina Lazarova, co-founder and chief operating officer of Ruepoint and board member of AMEC. Lazarova will participate in a panel discussion on crisis management.

The summit is organized by WCFA. On April 11th's agenda is a keynote speech from Holmes on AI and new trends in public relations for 2024. This will be followed by panel discussions covering topics such as managing business goals responsibly through communication; building trust amidst fake news; and the role of PR in world crisis communication. The day will conclude with a gala dinner.

On April 12th's schedule are talks centered around understanding power dynamics between AI and contemporary PR; engaging employees and customers as brand ambassadors; internal communications and employee engagement; mastering reputation management; predictive analytics in PR; influencing public opinion through PR; concluding with farewell drinks.

Founded in 2014, WCFA is a nonprofit organization based in Davos according to its website. The organization is committed to fostering modern public communications through the formation of a cross-border and cross-cultural community of professionals. It operates under the belief that communication is a key factor in developing humanity.
