WWE's planned return to India next month is something for fans to look forward to, the entertainment outlet announced in a news release this week.
The WWE Superstar Spectacle is scheduled at the GMC Balayogi Indoor Stadium in Hyderabad, India, Friday, Sept. 8, according to WWE's news release post to Businesswire Tuesday.
"WWE fans in attendance can look forward to seeing their favorite WWE Superstars in action," a recent Business Wire press release states.
The live event is the first of its kind to be hosted in the country since 2017, and the first-ever WWE live event to be held in Hyderabad. The entertainment company made tickets for the WWE Superstar Spectacle available starting noon today IST. An early presale was offered yesterday via the BookMyShow app and official website.
WWE Superstar Spectacle is produced and promoted by live entertainment experiential BookMyShow division, BookMyShow Live, considered India’s leading entertainment destination.
The WWE Superstars slated to attend the event are World Heavyweight Champion Seth "Freakin" Rollins, Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley, Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens, Intercontinental Champion "The Ring General" GUNTHER, Jinder Mahal, Veer, Sanga, Drew McIntyre, Becky Lynch, Natalya, Matt Riddle, and Ludwig Kaiser, among various others.
Sony Sports Network houses WWE’s programming in India, including the company’s Raw, SmackDown, NXT and WWE’s Premium Live Events including WrestleMania, SummerSlam, and Royal Rumble, among various others featured on Sony Sports Ten 1 in English, Sony Sports Ten 3 in Hindi and Sony Sports Ten 4 in Tamil & Telugu.

WWE Network is now available in more than 180 countries, with Peacock serving as the exclusive home for the network’s content.
