Global mobility and urban services platform, inDrive, has appointed Microsoft and Honeywell Veteran Mark Loughran as its Group President. The role will become effective on July 12th.

His track record and expertise make him an invaluable addition to our team, and an excellent choice for this pivotal role,” Arsen Tomsky, inDrive founder and CEO, said. “We look forward to working with Mark to realize our continued growth as a leading mobility and urban services provider, and to further our broader vision to drive positive change in the world.”
Upon assuming his new position, he will report directly to Tomsky.
Under his new role, Loughran will be responsible for inDrive’s business strategy, developing investments and new businesses and leveraging internal processes.
“He will also spearhead further development of inDrive’s inVision hub, whereas the company engages in initiatives to support justice and equality in science, education, sports and the arts,” a recent press release explains.
The idea for the appointment comes from inDrive’s general strategy to transform into a multinational and multi-vertical group of companies. “This new decentralized structure will facilitate agile decision making and foster growth across new verticals,” the press release continues.
Before accepting his role with inDrive, Loughran served as President for Central and Eastern Europe of Microsoft’s Commercial Cloud Business in Poland, where he was credited with a $1 billion investment related to digital transformation. He also contributed to GlaxoSmithKline, Nokia and Pace International. The University of Cambridge graduate holds a BA, MA and Ph.D..
