GITAI CEO: 'We are thrilled to fully launch our operations in the U.S. and serve our customers in this market'

GITAI USA launched its full operations in the United States, according to a press release.

"We are thrilled to fully launch our operations in the U.S. and serve our customers in this market," Sho Nakanose, GITAI's CEO, said.

GITAI, founded in 2016 by Nakanose, announced the launch of its full operations in the U.S. GITAI, headquartered in Tokyo, is a leading provider of space robots in Japan. GITAI seeks to provide safe and affordable means of labor in space, helping to maintain space stations, satellite stations and in the future, lunar and mars bases. 

"We are proud to have secured our first purchase order from a major local space company, which is a testament to the quality and value of our products and services. We are confident that our unique approach to Agile development of space robots will be well received by the U.S. space industry," Nakanose said.

According to the announcement, GITAI will focus on commercial space station support and expand its Los Angeles offices. In addition, the company also announced plans to hire over 50 new employees in 2023 for U.S. operations.
