Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. publishing label, 2K and Gearbox Software recently launched "New Tales from the Borderlands" on a global scale, according to a press release.
“With concept and writing collaboration between talent who worked on the original 'Tales from the Borderlands' and an all-Gearbox production team driven by the incredible creative leadership of Gearbox Studio Quebec, we’re stoked for everyone to play 'New Tales from the Borderlands,'” founder of the Gearbox Entertainment Company, Randy Pitchford, said. “The new storylines and characters will entertain newcomers to the Borderlands universe and those who have played and loved other Borderlands games.”
"New Tales from the Borderlands" will offer an extended version of the Borderlands universe.
The new choice-based, narrative adventure game is available in standard edition for $39.99 and deluxe edition for $49.99.
Developed by Gearbox Software, the game is rated “M for Mature” by the ESRB. The game is compatible with Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation®5 (PS5™), PlayStation®4 (PS4™), Nintendo Switch™ and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
The new game features a wide range of cinematic features, such as “Three Nobodies on a Mission,” as well as control over the fates of altruistic scientist Anu, Octavio and Fran and the final outcome of the story.
