Cognizant, based in New Jersey, was recently selected by global law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer as its new global technology services partner to help manage and expand its global IT operations, according to a press release.
"Cognizant is already the preferred digital transformation partner for some of the world's biggest companies in supporting their ambitious growth plans, enabling innovation and helping improve customer experience," head of communications, media and technology, global growth markets, Cognizant, Manju Kygonahally, said.
Under the terms of the multi-year agreement, Cognizant has agreed to manage and oversee Freshfields' IT infrastructure and applications and work desks. The company has committed to offering 24/7 support.

As the company updates and transforms its technological models, Cognizant will also offer guidance and tips of improvement for its client service, investment efforts and flexibility strategies.
