Mazda Motor Corporation recently selected Telenav, Inc.’s Navigation SDK and Cloud Search products to use for its in-vehicle navigation systems across Europe, Australia and New Zealand, a press release reported.

“Providing an excellent in-vehicle user experience is as important as the driving experience for Mazda,” staff manager of Infotainment and Control Model Development Dept., Mazda Motor Corporation, Kazuhiro Ikeda, said. “Telenav has proven to be a reliable partner for delivering such user experiences with their in-vehicle navigation solution and we look forward to a successful partnership.”

The auto brand hopes Telenav Navigation engine and one-box cloud search will help customers travel to and find their destination in an efficient and reliable manner.

Telenav has received recognitions like a J.D. Power award for navigation supplier in the compact and premium SUV category, and a high ranking on the navigation usability and experience measured by J.D. Power for six consecutive years.

“Mazda is known for their excellence in automotive engineering and demand the highest level of quality and performance from their partners,” Sal Dhanani, COO and co-founder of Telenav, said. “Being selected as a partner for navigation and location-based services is a proud achievement for Telenav and we are committed to living up to Mazda’s high expectations.”
