ATRESMEDIA recently expanded its partnership with YouTube TV to offer a catalog of Spanish content to its U.S. Hispanic community, according to a press release.
"With the arrival of ATRESplayer, we are continuing to support YouTube TV in its bid to both entertain and inform an increasingly large and influential audience within the United States, doing so through a common language,” Mar Martínez-Raposo, head of ATRESMEDIA International, said.
With a deal resembling Antena 3’s, ATRESplayer is now available to YouTube TV subscribers as an add-on, not requiring viewers to exit the app.
YouTube TV will now feature ATRESmedia, featuring more than 250 productions, including series, documentaries and films. Additional titles will be added gradually to the catalog each month.
The titles included in the project are "Aquí no hay quien viva," "Velvet," "Gran Hotel," "El tiempo entre costuras," as well as the return of "Los hombres de Paco," "Los protegidos," "Cardo," "Dos años y un día," all the seasons of "By Ana Milán," "Luimelia" and titles from across the globe, such as "La Voz España," "El Hormiguero" and "El Desafío," among various others.
The expansion correlates with Atresmedia’s Spanish-language content offering on Google in the U.S., which includes a wide range of original and exclusive series, entertainment shows and films, available for $4.99 per month following a seven-day trial.
