HCL Technologies partners with VMware to launch new business unit ‘to incubate, construct and architect innovative, customized cloud implementation strategies'

HCL Technologies has teamed up with VMware, Inc to help grow the presence of its multi-cloud and app modernization services across various industries.

“We are in a macroeconomic environment where ecosystems must collaborate to provide innovative and effective solutions that the industry requires,” said Anand Swamy, Senior Vice President, Head of Tech OEM Ecosystems, HCL Technologies. “Our new VMware business unit leverages the HCL and VMware synergies to incubate, construct and architect innovative, customized cloud implementation strategies with our CloudSMART approach as the baseline.”

HCL’s new VMware business unit forms part of its Strategic Alliance Partner Ecosystem, which oversees the performance of its CloudSMART Framework, which uses multi-cloud and app modernization tools to help businesses fulfill their digital business objectives, while still granting enterprises freedom to manage their own processes.

Through this collaboration, Combining CL’s CloudSMART Framework with VMware’s Cross-Cloud services “to help enterprises accelerate cloud transformation, scale cloud-native platform operations and empower hybrid workforces.”

For more than a decade, the two companies have successfully served an ample sum of clients with their multi-cloud and app modernization solutions, with HCL training more than 8,000 professionals on VMware technologies, managing three VMware centers, and developing four cloud-native labs. 

“These dedicated environments and resources help customers accelerate the deployment of VMware solutions and allow enterprises to experience next-generation VMware technologies,” a recent press release revealed. 

HCL was recently recognized with the 2022 VMwarePartner Value Award. VMware and HCL Technologies are also working to implement Telco transformation powered by vRAN, ORAN & 5G.
