Reltio, a software company based in Redwood City, California, recently hired Vincent Harmsen as senior vice president and head of Europe, according to Businesswire.
"EMEA is an important region for Reltio and our customers, and I am delighted to have Vincent join the team to oversee its success," Reltio CEO Chris Hylen told Businesswire. "At Reltio, we believe your business should deliver better outcomes with clean, easily consumed, real-time data. I see tremendous opportunities to help organizations solve their data challenges and to fuel growth and expansion for Reltio."
Under his new role, Harmsen will be tasked with leading Reltio’s field sales organization in Europe and promoting growth in the region, with the focus remaining on the company’s customer-facing expansion goals.
Set to report to Chief Revenue Officer Eric Cross, he will also help expand the company's network of strategic partners “to serve many organizations and help solve their complex data management challenges.”
“With his deep industry experience and connections across Europe, Vincent can jump into his work with our customers and partners seamlessly as we accelerate our expansion in the region, serve our global customer base and recruit key talent," Cross told Businesswire.
With more than two decades of leadership and development experience across European regions, the executive previously worked for Informatica as vice president of the EMEA North West & DACH region, as well as Exact, Infor, BMC, Hyperion and Siemens.
“I’ve been in the data management space for many years and recognize the vital need for modern data solutions to solve today’s customer challenges,” Harmsen told Businesswire. “Reltio is front-running, born in the cloud, and super-focused on fast time-to-value and delivering concrete business outcomes, which are key competitive advantages of Reltio’s innovative cloud data management platform. I’m impressed hearing the great feedback from our customers and partners on how Reltio contributes to their business and success experiences. Reltio’s software and vision to provide unified and trusted data — in real time — to any type of data user is foundational to any organization's innovation and transformation roadmap.”
The new hire reflects and accelerates the company’s long-term growth strategy.
Since its establishment in 2011, the cloud-native, data management SaaS company has collaborated with notable brands around the world, receiving recognition, such as Leader in the 2021 Forrester Wave Report for MDM and a Challenger in 2021 Gartner Magic Quadrant for MDM. It also “ranked the #2 on The Software Report’s list of The Top 25 Data Software Companies of 2022, and in its latest Series E funding secured $120 million, increasing the company’s valuation to $1.7 billion,” among other accomplishments.
