TransImpact recently opened a new office in Pune, India, to strengthen its global supply chain intelligence and profitability.
"Today we have the opportunity to work seamlessly with great colleagues around the world, enabling us to better meet the needs of our clients who continue to face challenges with many aspects of their supply chain," Berkley Stafford, TransImpact CEO, said in an April 20 press release. "Our team in Pune is an integral part of delivering on our vision to be the leading end-to-end supply chain technology company."
Featuring leading supply chain analysis technology, recreational areas, and ample space for team members, the new establishment will serve as an extension of TransImpact's U.S. digital and technology teams with specialists in product development, software engineering, digital marketing, and analytics, the release stated.
The office will start with a staff of 24 technology professionals specializing in product development, software engineering, digital marketing, and analytics, according to PR Newswire. The team will prioritize the development of SaaS products that correlate with ‘parcel contract negotiations, logistics network optimization, inventory and demand planning.’
The new location expands the North Carolina-based company’s global footprint as its 214 employees work to provide SaaS+ solutions and simplified supply chain network optimization programs to clients around the world, according to the release.
