Pitney Bowes has introduced PitneyShipTM Pro to the Canadian market.
“Every second, 50 parcels are generated in Canada,” Shemin Nurmohamed, senior vice president, Sending Technology Solutions, Pitney Bowes said in a press release. “That’s 1.6 billion parcels a year, expected to rise to 2.5 billion by 2026. Businesses need the right tools and technologies in place to manage this growing volume, to keep their costs down and deliver the best customer experience, but a hybrid workforce can make this incredibly challenging. PitneyShip Pro solves this problem, as the first of several exciting new solutions engineered to simplify shipping built on a leading-edge cloud platform.”
Based in Stamford, Connecticut, the global shipping and mailing company launched the Shipping 360 platform expansion with the intention of meeting the demands of businesses in the region.
The platform offers data related to shipping activity and investments across all employees and locations in the area and a rating feature for national and regional carriers, and facilitates users’ ability to keep up with potential business requirement changes, and simultaneously use applications such as ParcelPoint and SmartLockers to send and receive shipments, according to a press release.
“PitneyShip Pro integrates next-generation design with advanced shipping functionality,” a related press release reads. “The solution gives businesses an enhanced, customizable user experience, driving efficiency and productivity whether employees work remotely or in the office.”
Upon inquiring about the service, employees belonging to the organizations will receive email instructions detailing how they can begin shipping through PitneyShip Pro, requiring a secure internet connection.
“The intuitive, easy-to-use interface has been specifically designed to scale across all employees regardless of where they work, with its fast set-up requiring minimal IT support,” the press release read.
