ForgeRock's Identity Cloud recently became accessible in two new data centers in Indonesia and Hong Kong.
"Our continued investment in Asia addresses the need for cloud services across the region as organizations turn to digital transformation to grow their businesses," said ForgeRock CEO Fran Rosch in a Jan. 26 press release. "With this expansion, ForgeRock is bringing the patented security and data sovereignty of ForgeRock Identity Cloud and reliable cloud infrastructure to enterprise customers in the region who want to create digital experiences at Internet scale."
With the addition of the data centers, the company will now be able to help large, multinational enterprises quickly deliver apps and services to their customers locally, according to the release. It will also make services like mobile banking and telehealth more secure.
ForgeRock's platform has a stellar multi-layered defense-in-depth security architecture and unique tenant isolation that prevents traffic from one user from interfering or negatively affecting the cloud performance of another user, the release stated.
The expansion brings the platform to 17 regions worldwide, according to ForgeRock. The company currently has the largest cloud IAM footprint.
ForgeRock, headquartered in San Francisco, supports several companies with its software including Standard Chartered Bank, BTPN Bank, Telekomsel, XL Axiata, Mobile Premier League (MPL), and Mox Bank.
